Guest Post Topic: The guest post topic should be based on the purpose of DevZum, which is web development, web design, SEO, programming.  If you are unsure of what is an appropriate topic, you are more than welcome to contact us and ask if a proposed topic is appropriate.  However, you may discover if there is a match for your chosen topic by entering the keyword(s) into the search bar in the top right corner.

Link Policy:  You can add up to 2 links in your profile section that link to the root domain of your website(s) or website(s) where you contribute.  Therefore, please no links to promote a specific article or post in your profile section.  All social media links will be added next to your name and above your profile description.  You may link to an article or post of a client’s or your own website within the body of the guest post.  You may also promote a product or service where you would receive personal gain for doing so, but keep in mind that DevZum will require additional information or request free use of the product or service to prove its efficacy.  We recommend to add links only to trusted and popular websites in your niche.  SPAM links will not be tolerated.

Guest Post Format: Please use headings (h1), sub-headings (h2), bold, italics, lists and pictures in your guest post to make it more engaging.

Image Requirement:  One image at minimum is required that matches your guest post.  If you do not own the image, please include a reference and link that gives credit to its creator.

Content Ownership:  All guest posts published on DevZum will not be re-published on other websites.  As soon as you submit your content to DevZum, it is the sole property of DevZum.

No Plagairism:  No guest posts will be published that are plagiarized from another website or other forms of media such as books, newspapers or magazines.  Guest posts will be either deleted or altered by DevZum to meet this requirement.

Comment Policy: You are not required to respond to any comments, but if you do comment, be careful what you say and do not create any form of conflict.  DevZum will not tolerate any form of racist, sexist or derogatory language.  If the comment policy is violated, all authorship, comments and links from your guest post will be removed or altered.
